OKX jumps into AI agent race with new OnchainOS toolkit

0

OKX on Tuesday rolled out an AI-focused upgrade to OnchainOS, its developer platform, pitching it as infrastructure for autonomous crypto trading agents.

The AI layer builds on familiar components such as wallet infrastructure, liquidity routing, and on-chain data feeds, combining them into a unified execution framework aimed at AI agents operating across chains.

Rather than wiring price feeds, token approvals, gas estimation, and swap routing manually, developers can connect an agent and issue a high-level instruction, such as swapping ETH for USDC below a certain price. OnchainOS handles the workflow behind the scenes, from monitoring markets to sourcing liquidity and confirming settlement.

The intersection between crypto and AI has grown exponentially in the past 12 months with the blockchain AI market projected to rise from $6 billion in 2024 to $50 billion by 2030.

And traders are using the technology to their advantage. One recent example was where a group of retail traders used AI to find “glitches” on platforms like Polymarket before instructing AI to trade on its behalf.

More than 60 blockchain networks are supported, along with smart routing across 500+ decentralized exchanges, according to a release from the company. OKX says the broader OnchainOS stack already processes 1.2 billion daily API calls and about $300 million in daily trading volume, underscoring that the AI layer sits on existing production infrastructure.

Access comes through natural language “AI Skills,” Model Context Protocol integration for coding agents like Claude Code and Cursor, and direct REST APIs for developers seeking more control.

OnchainOS is available globally to developers starting Tuesday March 3, the company said in a release.

Bitcoin falls below $67,000 as U.S. equities slide and oil pushes higher

0

Day four of the Middle East conflict is bringing renewed volatility to global markets during Tuesday’s pre-market, with a clear shift toward risk off positioning.

Bitcoin is down 3% over the past 24 hours, slipping below $67,000 after briefly touching $70,000 on Monday. In equities, the Invesco QQQ (QQQ) ETF closed slightly higher to start the week but is now down about 2% in pre market trading.

Metals are also under pressure. Gold and silver are both lower, with gold holding above $5,300 per ounce and silver sliding another 4% to around $85 per ounce.

In energy markets, WTI crude oil is above $74 per barrel up 5% over the past 24 hours, nearing Sunday futures highs just above $75. Meanwhile, the US dollar is strengthening sharply, with the DXY index climbing above 99, a level not seen since Jan. 20.

Treasury yields are edging higher across the curve. The US 10 year yield is holding firmly above 4% and pushing toward 4.1%, reflecting persistent rate pressure.

Crypto related equities are tracking bitcoin lower. Strategy (MSTR), the largest publicly traded holder of bitcoin, is down 2%. Coinbase (COIN) has fallen 5%, Galaxy Digital is off 3%, and AI focused miners IREN (IREN) and Cipher Digital (CIFR) are also down roughly 4%.

Iran’s Conflict and Internet Disruptions Hit Local Crypto Industry

On March 1, Chainalysis observed that Iran’s largest crypto exchanges were offline, a report consistent with the complete disruption of the internet connection coming from the regime. Bitcoin’s jump to $69,000 likely the result of short-covering

0

After dipping over the weekend as the U.S. began strikes against Iran, bitcoin shot higher on Monday, at one point nearing $70,000 before pulling back to the current $69,000.

While any rally in bitcoin is welcome by the bulls, today’s move comes after a relentless months-long slide that has halved the price and weighed on sentiment. One analyst suggests Monday’s quick gains carry the hallmarks of a positioning squeeze, with traders who had bet on further downside forced to unwind those trades as prices rose.

“This is clearly a flushing of shorts due to the confluence of the Iranian attacks causing a rebalancing across the whole capital stack with bitcoin having a tailwind from a reversal of spot bitcoin ETF outflows,” said Mark Connors, chief investment officer at Risk Dimensions. In other words, macro shocks triggered repositioning across markets, and bitcoin benefited as some investors rotated back into risk, and recent spot bitcoin ETF outflows slowed or reversed.

A short flush can create sharp, fast rallies. When traders who borrowed to bet on falling prices rush to close their positions, they must buy back the asset, adding fuel to the move. That dynamic can push prices higher than fundamentals alone would justify, at least in the short term.

“This is not a signal of the march back to $100,000 and through the very important 75,000 resistance,” said a cautious Connors In his view, the rally does not yet mark a decisive break from the broader downtrend. Key resistance levels remain overhead, and without sustained spot demand, the bounce could stall as quickly as it began.

Market positioning data underscores his caution and shows how tightly wound the derivatives market has become.

Data from CoinGlass’ liquidation heat map shows a $218 million cluster of positions that will be liquidated if price tumbles to between $65,250 and $64,650, which was the base from which Mondays’ rally began.

This, coupled with open interest rising by 6% over the past 24 hours while price increased by 3.8%, suggests the move is backed by leverage rather than spot buying, leading a number of traders to take profits at the psychological $70,000 level of resistance.

On the other hand, a break above $70,000 would trigger around $90 million worth of short liquidations — likely enough fuel to challenge February’s high of $72,000.

OKX Integrates Katana Infrastructure to Launch Native Onchain DeFi Yield

The Majority of Businesses Manage Payments Through Disconnected Systems, Corefy’s 2025 Study Finds

0

A new global study has found that the majority of businesses continue to manage payments through disconnected systems and workflows, a practice that limits visibility and control as payment complexity increases.

The findings were published in Corefy’s annual research report, The State of Payment Maturity 2025: A Global Study on Payment Stacks and Orchestration Readiness. Based on 672 completed assessments from businesses worldwide, the research offers a detailed look at how modern payment stacks are evolving.

Fragmentation remains the dominant reality

While the report shows that manual payment handling has been nearly eliminated (falling to just 1.0 per cent), operational maturity still lags behind the complexity that businesses are currently taking on.

According to the data, fragmentation remains the dominant market reality:

  • 58.5 per cent of companies currently operate with ‘Fragmented payments’, meaning they run transactions through disconnected providers and tools.
  • Only 11.7 per cent of businesses sit in the most advanced segments (categorised as ‘Responsive’ and ‘Agile’), where payments are managed as an adaptive, optimised system.
Moving beyond basic acceptance

The study also indicates a clear shift away from basic, one-step payment acceptance and toward deeper operational capability.

Currently, only 38.5 per cent of businesses rely primarily on basic payment acceptance. In contrast, 23.9 per cent report using complex operational functionality, which includes managing refunds, chargebacks, and analytics.

Furthermore, a smaller but notable share of respondents (8.3 per cent) reports the adoption of artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML) automation. This suggests that as transaction volumes and performance pressures rise, more teams are beginning to automate their decisioning, monitoring, and exception handling processes.

The rise of multi-provider portfolios
Denys Kyrychenko, co-founder and CEO at Corefy

Provider connectivity data from the report illustrates why ‘payments as an operating model’ is becoming a defining reality for the industry.

While one-third of businesses (33.5 per cent) still run on a single provider, multi-provider setups are now increasingly common. In aggregate, 37.1 per cent of businesses now manage portfolios consisting of five or more providers. According to Corefy, this creates an operating environment where routing logic, fallback design, unified reporting, and reconciliation discipline transition into structural requirements.

Denys Kyrychenko, co-founder and CEO at Corefy, commented on the findings:
“The industry has largely solved access to providers. What remains unsolved for many businesses is control. Multi-provider portfolios demand standardised flows, centralised routing logic, and the ability to make changes without rebuilding infrastructure each time.”

Corefy is a global payment orchestration platform designed for online businesses and payment institutions. The platform supports over 600 ready-made integrations with payment service providers and acquirers worldwide, including direct integrations with Google Pay, Apple Pay, and Visa. To date, the infrastructure has processed over 1 billion transactions

Circle Stock Extends Double-Digit Gains Amid Broader Crypto Rally

0

In brief

  • Circle shares rose another 15% Monday, extending gains to roughly 60% since last week’s Q4 earnings.
  • Analysts point to short covering, accelerating USDC growth, and regulatory clarity under the GENIUS Act.
  • The rally comes as Bitcoin steadies near $68,000 amid the rising U.S.–Iran tensions.

Stablecoin issuer Circle’s shares jumped another 15% Monday, extending gains to roughly 60% since last week’s fourth-quarter earnings release, as investors poured into stablecoin-linked equities while broader crypto markets held firm.

The move follows the company’s announcement of 72% growth in its stablecoin USDC to $75.3 billion and 77% revenue growth to $770 million, despite a net loss tied to IPO-related compensation in the fourth quarter.

CRCL is trading at $96, marking a 71% advance in its stock in just over a month, according to Google Finance data. It’s still down by more than 10% since its debut on the New York Stock Exchange back in June of last year.

It comes as broader crypto markets digest geopolitical and regulatory crosscurrents, with Bitcoin hovering near $68,372, after recovering from a brief selloff triggered by a U.S.-led strike on Iran, per CoinGecko data.

President Donald Trump said Monday on X the U.S. had launched “Operation Epic Fury,” calling it “one of the largest, most complex, most overwhelming military offensives the world has ever seen.”

On Myriad, a prediction market owned by Decrypt’s parent company Dastan, users now see a 51% likelihood of a U.S.–Iran ceasefire happening before April 1.

Oil and gold have risen on supply concerns, and for equity investors, attention has shifted to stablecoin fundamentals, positioning, and regulation.

“Demand for stablecoins as well as the medium-to-long-term positive forecasts have made CRCL and stablecoin projects in general the real flavour of the month,” Sean Dawson, head of research at Derive, told Decrypt.

“Regulatory momentum (Genius Act) as well as the obvious product market fit have made CRCL a relatively stable and reliable place to invest as the digital asset market has languished over the last several months,” he said.

Last week, the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency released a proposal detailing how it intends to implement the stablecoin-focused GENIUS Act, which Trump signed into law last summer.

The proposal would restrict certain stablecoin rewards programs, and multiple crypto policy leaders told Decrypt it could affect Coinbase’s USDC rewards structure, though the rule remains subject to a 60-day public comment period and is not final.

At the same time, some analysts say the rally points to a shift in how investors view Circle, not as a token proxy, but as a payments infrastructure tied to artificial intelligence.

“We’ve started a new era in the AI story,” Pav Hundal, lead analyst at Australian crypto exchange Swyftx, told Decrypt. “Investors are starting to pick winners and losers, and, rightly or wrongly, Circle is seen as a big winner in the AI narrative.”

“USDC isn’t a crypto bet anymore, it’s a payments infrastructure and agentics bet,” he added.

He described a future where AI agents transact autonomously on behalf of users and businesses, “naturally route around high fees” and select the “cheapest settlement rails available,” with stablecoins already “positioned for that role.”

On an earnings call last week, Circle CEO Jeremy Allaire tied the company’s future to artificial intelligence, saying it will “drive the greatest acceleration of economic activity we’ve ever seen in human history.”

USDC’s year-to-date supply growth of +0.1% has outpaced Tether’s stablecoin USDT’s -2%, driven partly by increased usage on Polymarket, Peter Chung, head of research at Presto Labs, told Decrypt, highlighting “the importance of tying up with the right distribution channel.”

He noted that if the pending CLARITY Act ultimately forbids distributors from revenue sharing, “it could ironically benefit Circle by shielding its revenue base from competitive pressure.”

Bitcoin climbs as IBIT posts one of the quarter’s biggest inflow days amid Iran volatility

0

Bitcoin traded near $68,000 on Tuesday as U.S. spot ETFs pulled in $458 million, according to data curated by SoSoValue, marking one of the quarter’s strongest inflow days despite the ongoing conflict with Iran.

The inflows suggest institutional investors are treating bitcoin’s recent volatility stemming from the war as contained rather than systemic.

Singapore-based trading firm QCP Capital said in a recent note that the roughly $300 million in long liquidations triggered by the weekend headlines were “notable but contained,” arguing that positioning had already been materially lightened in recent weeks.

Options markets told a similar story, QCP wrote, with one-day implied volatility briefly spiking to 93% before quickly retracing, a sign traders were hedging event risk rather than bracing for prolonged escalation.

Meanwhile, U.S. spot bitcoin ETFs added $1.1 billion over three consecutive sessions last week, according to SoSoValue data previously reported by CoinDesk, with BlackRock’s IBIT accounting for roughly half.

How to determine which AI music generator is best suited for you

In the testing of these 6 AI music generators, a distinct trend emerges: some products excel at being “accessible to anyone”, others deepen their focus on “professional creation”, while a few attempt to strike a balance between the two.

MakeBestMusic is undoubtedly a representative of the balanced products. It not only enables zero-basis users to directly generate complete songs with both melody and vocals using natural language but also provides advanced functions such as style customization, structural editing, and track splitting. Coupled with its relatively generous free trial quota, it is perfectly suited as the first choice for ordinary creators to get their initial exposure to AI music creation, and it can also support the needs for higher-quality content production.

By contrast, Mubert is highly appealing to video bloggers, app developers, and enterprise teams, as it places greater emphasis on commercially usable royalty-free background music. However, its lack of vocal capabilities limits its appeal for users seeking to write songs or create musical expressions.

Like Mubert, AIVA is clearly positioned for professional users. Its support for MIDI and audio import, along with features for style variation and rearrangement, makes it more of an AI assistant for composers than a tool for rapid music generation, which means users need to overcome a higher learning and operational barrier.

Both Soundraw and Beatoven firmly occupy the niche of background music for content creators. They both prioritize royalty-free use and commercial viability, yet barely involve vocal or song generation, making them ideal for users who need to quickly obtain the music they require.

Soundful sits somewhere between a tool and a platform. It can rapidly lower the threshold for music generation while also leaving room for professional post-production through track splitting and MIDI export. It is particularly suitable for high-frequency creators who hope to get ready-to-use music in a short time and possess basic production skills.

Overall, for beginners aiming to write a complete song with just a phrase or creators in need of professional music production, MakeBestMusic is the optimal choice.

If you are looking for stable, royalty-free background music that is readily available whenever you need it, Mubert, Soundraw, and Beatoven are more suitable options.

For those who want AI to be part of their creative workflow, AIVA will serve as your most powerful creative assistant.

And Soundful is tailored for intermediate creators who fall between amateur and professional levels.

In other words, none of these tools can be deemed “the best”—they are all designed to serve entirely different groups of creators.

Conclusion

From instrumental tracks to full songs with vocals, AI music generators have evolved from supplementary aids into core assistants for creativity and productivity, catering to needs ranging from beginners to professionals. Yet as tools multiply, choosing the right one becomes harder. As we can see from the review, there is no such thing as the best tool—only the one that fits specific creative scenarios and user requirements.

Whether you want to quickly generate background music for short videos or aspire to produce professional film, television, or game soundtracks, choosing the right tool for you can turn your ideas into reality swiftly and transform your concepts into commercially viable works.

Now go ahead and try an AI music generator, and make your content creation more efficient, more professional, and more commercially valuable.

Bitcoin Rebound Tactical Not Structural Bear Market: Analysts

0

Bitcoin’s recent price behavior could indicate that crypto selling pressure has begun to wane — though analysts warn there are not yet signs of a reversal from a bear market.

“Bitcoin failed to accelerate lower on risk-off headlines, a signal that downside pressure may be losing momentum,” said 10x Research in a market update on Tuesday.

The analysts noted that Bitcoin (BTC) was reclaiming the 20-day moving average near $68,500, and Bollinger Bands were tightening, with conditions “forming for potential range expansion.”

BTC returned to just above $70,000 on Coinbase in late trading on Monday but had retreated to $68,400 at the time of writing, according to TradingView.

The $62,500 level has held on three separate tests, “reinforcing it as meaningful support,” the analysts said.

At the same time, “bullish divergences are emerging,” with both RSI [relative strength index] and stochastic indicators trending higher, “early signs that momentum may be stabilizing even within a broader bearish structure.”

A tactical shift but no structural reversal

The analysts concluded that the evidence “points to a meaningful tactical shift, but not yet a confirmed structural turn.”

Volatility is compressing, ETF flows have strengthened, and the Coinbase discount has disappeared, “these are not characteristics of a market accelerating into a fresh leg lower,” they said.

“However, our broader allocation framework still classifies Bitcoin as being in a bear market regime, meaning any bullish exposure remains tactical rather than structural.”

Related: Crypto analyst says Bitcoin selling pressure is nearly exhausted

Justin d’Anethan, head of research at Arctic Digital, told Cointelegraph on Tuesday that there have been a lot of macro and crypto-native events that have pushed the price down, but lately, “we’ve moved from frantic to somewhat measured,” which bodes well for “a consolidation, accumulation, or at least, a range-bound time.”

“The fact that selling pressure isn’t having that much impact despite tariffs, prospect of a war, or previously disappointing rate cut expectations seems to say that sellers themselves are exhausted or that there are genuine buyers averaging in at these levels.”

Deeply negative funding rates caused a price bounce

Meanwhile, Bitrue research lead Andri Fauzan Adziima told Cointelegraph that Bitcoin’s downside momentum is fading but said it was “primarily due to deeply negative funding rates” on derivatives markets.

This has created “overcrowded short positions in perpetual futures and triggered a classic short squeeze as price bounced sharply from $63,000 lows, forcing heavy liquidations and easing selling pressure through tactical relief.”

Negative funding rates mean that short sellers are paying the longs to maintain their positions.

He added that no confirmed trend reversal has occurred yet “because structural inflows remain absent, macro catalysts are lacking,” and the broader downtrend from the all-time high “persists with fragile liquidity and resistance ahead.”
