KAST, the global platform built on stablecoin rails, announced today that Brad Jaffe, who led global communications at cryptocurrency exchange Binance for more than three years during a period of rapid global growth and regulatory evolution, has joined the company as Chief Communications Officer.

Jaffe will oversee global communications, brand positioning, regulator and stakeholder engagement as KAST continues to drive global growth as it builds a modern financial platform designed to make stablecoins practical and usable in everyday economic life. This is the latest key hire from KAST with the business making over 300 hires in the past year across engineering, product and compliance from across the fintech and crypto ecosystem including Circle, Stripe and Airwallex

“The architecture of finance is shifting,” said Raagulan Pathy, Founder & CEO of KAST and former Circle executive. “Stablecoins have reached meaningful global scale, and they are increasingly embedded in how people move and store value. What matters now is building platforms that combine usability with durability – systems people can depend on as this transformation continues. Brad has led communications at global scale during pivotal moments in this industry. That perspective will help us shape the next phase of KAST’s growth.”

In 2025, global stablecoin transaction volume grew 72 percent, reaching more than $33 trillion, according to Artemis Analytics – exceeding the combined annual volume of the world’s largest credit card networks. Stable digital dollars are being used for payments, savings, payroll, and cross-border settlement by individuals and businesses worldwide.

“KAST is built for people who need money to work reliably – entrepreneurs operating internationally, professionals paid in digital assets, families sending funds across borders, or individuals looking for a more predictable way to store and use value.” Jaffe said. “The opportunity now is to turn this infrastructure into financial tools people trust and rely on.”

At Binance, Jaffe led global communications strategy and execution across more than 100 countries, covering stakeholder engagement, policy and regulatory communications, issues and crisis management, product and brand positioning, internal communications, and media relations during a pivotal period for the digital asset industry. Prior to Binance, he held senior corporate affairs roles at Mars, Incorporated and worked at global communications firms Weber Shandwick and Edelman. Earlier in his career, he served in political and legislative roles for a prominent U.S. Senator.

KAST provides stable digital payments and wealth tools for individuals and businesses operating across countries, with a focus on operational integrity and long-term platform resilience.
