What Brings You to Fintech Meetup This Year?

At Fintech Meetup 2026, we asked the attendees a simple question: What Brings You to Fintech Meetup This Year?

The answers signalled a focus on actionable results over buzzwords and emphasised immediate business needs.

A focus on global expansion was key, as one attendee sought to connect with fintechs needing their newly launched embedded API product for global accounts, FX, wallets, and payments. Others focused on influencing behavior through “gamification and connection” to boost metrics like client relationships, memberships, and employee retention, prioritising the human element of engagement.

The fight against financial crime saw “booming interest,” driven by financial institutions desperate for solutions to stop customers from being scammed. This reflects the industry’s shift toward technology that solves profitable, real-world problems now.

Finally, an ambassador attended to better understand the Fintech Meetup in Las Vegas and help launch the upcoming Lisbon program in October by securing speakers, highlighting the event’s own expansion as a global networking platform.
