The launch event welcomed industry leaders, policymakers, and past award winners to the historic venue, setting the tone for what organisers promise will be the most impactful edition to date.

S&W joins Aon as headline sponsor

A major announcement from the event was the confirmation that S&W has joined Aon as a headline sponsor for the 2026 awards. The addition of S&W, a firm known for supporting high-growth businesses, is seen as a reflection of the growing maturity and influence of London’s fintech ecosystem.

Emily Berry, head of fintech at S&W, commented on the partnership: “We’re proud to be the headline sponsor of Fintech Awards London. Supporting innovation and excellence in the fintech sector is at the heart of what we do at S&W, and these awards are a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the talent driving the industry forward.”

Matt Hyde, director of the Fintech Awards, added: “Launching the 2026 awards at the House of Lords is a powerful statement about the importance of fintech to the UK economy. We’re thrilled to welcome S&W alongside Aon as headline sponsors – their support will help us continue to spotlight the innovators shaping the future of finance.”

London’s status as a global hub
